In this episode we candidly talk about the season of life we are in, setting boundaries, rest, and navigating the waters of uncertainty.
Dr. Tay references self compassion exercises at the end of the talk, you can access them here:

Today we premiere a new series: mom moments. In these episodes (which we aim to do approximately once a month), we are going to dive into a theme relevant to motherhood. For our non-parents out there (like Dr. Tay!), we believe that many of these topics will still be relevant to you. Much of what we will share will apply to little and big humans alike!
This week we focus on emotion regulation, validation, and processing. Listen as we share how children learn their emotions from their parents and how we may inadvertently be suppressing our emotions as adults.
Here’s what we’re going to dive into on this week’s episode:
Handling big emotions from little humans
Emotion regulation in children and adults
Responding vs. reacting
Addressing emotion regulation as parents

Today we are talking about how to manage your day to have the most impact. The habits and routines that we cultivate as our daily routine compound over time and are what take us on a journey to living intentionally and influentially.
This is the second part in a two part series. Last episode we talked about managing your day by focusing on your mindset. Today we are moving on to taking action. Once you’ve mastered how you think about yourself, your goals, and your day, you can begin taking the right action to move the needle forward.
When you hear ‘move the needle’ you may think of your big world-changing goals. But you can move the needle in many things in your life: your wellness, your attitude, your boundaries, your family. Each habit and each day builds on the next.
Listen as we give our tips for putting goals and plans into action and turning action into results and we reveal what makes the biggest impact in our week.

Today we are talking about how to manage your day to have the most impact. The habits and routines that we cultivate as our daily routine compound over time and are what take us on our journey to living intentionally and influentially.
This is a two part series where we will first dive into the mindset aspect of managing your day - because what we tell ourselves matters.
Listen as we share how what we tell ourselves about our abilities, routines, and goals affects the trajectory of our days and how we can use our thoughts to empower ourselves to have the most impact with our day.
In this episode we reference the Habits of Thinking assessment. This is a tool that will give you insight about how your brain thinks and what thought patterns may be sabotaging you. You can take the FREE assessment here.

Today we are excited to bring you a listener-requested topic of living in fear.
As humans, fear is designed to keep us safe - and often we have to ask ourselves - from what?
Fear can manifest on multiple levels, from worrying about the health and safety of loved ones to worrying about what people think of your new business venture.
Listen as Dr. Tay dives into the psychology behind fear and tangible ways to move yourself along the journey of overcoming them.

Have you ever felt like you’re in a rut? Maybe you aren’t inspired.
Maybe you don’t know what to post, talk about, or how to encourage your people.
Maybe you’re finding yourself reactive and impatient instead of responsive.
We understand. We’ve felt like this too! Ultimately, it ties back to a lack of leading yourself first.
When you lead yourself first every day, you have a greater impact on those around you.
Here’s what we’re going to dive into on this week’s episode:
What leading yourself means
Why leading yourself is important
How to lead yourself first
