  • Put one foot in front of the other and soldier on...without fear

Candace McGraw is Chief Executive officer of CVG airport, the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky international airport and one of the few women in the country who head a major U.S. Airport. She talks about setting the tone as a leader for your organization. We discuss how women professionally gather and support each other. As Candace has faced adversity in her career and personal life, she has done so with grace and conviction. She had the courage and strength to publicly challenge a politically charged "old guard" airport board in favor of advancing a positive airport growth strategy. Candace lost a son to a drug overdose and she talks about how this tragic experience has made her fearless. Enjoy listening to Candace!

  • Don’t be afraid to ask, don’t be afraid to say “yes”

Amy Hanson had a long career as an executive with Macy’s, a Fortune 500 company. She talks about keys to rising to an executive position and networking. She talks about women needing to ask and say yes and about how to handle tough days through persistence and relentlessness. She currently serves on several corporate boards where there are few women. I love Amy’s perspective. She is down to earth and hard-working.
