The matriarchal nature of the Freljord continues to be on full display yin this week's story as the Warmother of the fearsome Winter's Claw must restore the tribe to glory and shape the Freljord to her vision. Sejuani was willing to kill her own mother to see the tribe succeed and has taken that resolve to the next extreme where she is more than willing to sacrifice herself for her people and for the Winter's Claw. This devotion breeds devotion from her people to her and has allowed the Winter's Claw to rise from ashes to be a feared tribe challenging the Avarosans.

Ashe's bloodsworn and the myth surrounding how he never seems to be wounded or die. His ability to keep himself alive through pure rage is something that should be envied by everyone. The Barbarian King, although a King begrudgingly, must choose between his oath to Ashe and the Avarosans, who are now his people, or his personal path of vengeance.
