Leaping with Mammals

Your favourite (the only) Leaping Mammal podcast is back! Stick around for a special treat at the end of the episode! Content warning drugging and assault are touched on in this episode. Get ready to dive back into Ian's jumpy brain 2 weeks after the Ottawa Fringe, and have you heard of House Hippo?

ExDEMONators opens this evening! In the midst of a show opening I took 20min to ramble into a mic about feelings! Remember to grab your tickets for the Fringe!

With Fringe just a week away I sat down with a couple of the cast of ExDEMONators post rehearsal to talk about the show's development, and the parts of the show we can't wait for an audience to see!

My Good Friend Rob is back! We talk rehearsing, comedy and grapes!!!

The last of a quartet of pods recorded with the Blanket Fort Cast. This time no Owoogas! All swears are in and no content is off limits! Thanks to Andy Kellie, Carley Richards and Jon Dickey.

Another Episode with the talented and wonderful Amanda Logan of Toasted Theatre. We talk about the beginnings of her theatre company and running an independent company in cities that begin with the letter "O". Amanda is also the Ottawa Fringe Media and Communications Officer so keep your eyes out for her around the Fringe coming up in June! AND remember ghosts aren't real.

I was lucky enough to steal some time on a double show day with some cast-mates and the director of Lysistrata (that show I talk about all the time). Huge thanks to Brenda Solman, Emma Hickey, Shirley Manh and Don Fex!

You ever wonder what an actor on a show high sounds like ramblin about things and stuff. Well here ya go! This week Ian sits down to give you some of thoughts about the show he opened last night. Enjoy!

Robert MaGuire and I grew up together in New Brunswick, and both moved west. Him a bit farther then me, now living in Calgary. I was lucky enough to have him visit and we sat down and talked about two of our favourite subjects: Art and Space!

Another group episode with Jon Dickey, Carley Richards and Andy Kellie. We talk our experiences in making independent theatre, and choosing how many projects to take on. Don't forget to grab your tickets for Theatre Kraken's Lysistrata at the Gladstone Theatre May 9th-18th. And keep your ears and eyes open for more information about the next Leaping Mammal show ExDEMONators at the Fringe in June!
