Курортният комплекс Албена e една от най-популярните дестинации на Черно море. Намира се на около 6 мили (9.7 км) от Балчик и на 17 мили (27 км) от Варна. Проектиран е с голямо внимание и всички хотели са разположени така, че гледат към слънцето и едновременно с това от тях се стига лесно до плажа.

Курортният комплекс е прочут с белите си пясъчни плажове и кристално чиста вода. В него има 34 хотела с категория от 2 до 4 звезди. Всички хотелски стаи предлагат изглед или към морето, или към Националния резерват "Балтата" - къс от дивата природа, уникален с това, че обединява море и гора. В курорта има 20 ресторанта с разнообразна кухня, която ще съблазни всеки пътешественик.

Туристическият сезон на Албена трае шест месеца. Морето и плажът са използваеми със сигурност от май до октомври.За туристите, коите не държат на всяка цена да ходят на плаж, има и целогодишен хотел, където гостите могат да се наслаждават на най-голямото спа на българското Черноморие и да пробват местна минерална вода.

Курортният комплекс предлата голям брой развлечения, включително футбол, тенис, покрит стадион, боулинг, голф и конна езда. Там се провеждат много конференции и мероприятия. Плажовете са безплатни, освен ако човек не ползва плажен чадър или шезлонг.

Albena

Albena Resort is one of the most popular destinations on the Black Sea. It sits about 6 miles outside of Balchik and 17 miles away from Varna. A lot of planning went into creating the resort, whose hotels are situated in a way that allows them to take full advantage of the sunlight while also providing easy access to the beach.

The resort is very well known for its white, sandy beaches and crystal clear water. There are 43 different hotels located at the resort, ranging from 2 to 4 stars. Every room at the resort offers a view of either the Black Sea or the Baltata National Reserve, which is a wildlife area that's unique because of its combination of sea and forest. There are also 20 restaurants with various types of cuisine to entice any traveler.

The tourism season at Albena lasts six months. Between May and October, use of the beach and the sea are guaranteed. For tourists who don't necessarily want to hit the beach, there are also accommodations available that are made for year-round use, allowing those staying there to enjoy what may be the largest spa on the sea in Bulgaria. Among other features, the spa offers local mineral water to those who visit.

There are plenty of activities available at the resort, including soccer, tennis, an indoor stadium, bowling, golf, and horseback riding. The resort is the destination of choice for many large conferences and events. Beach use at Albena is free unless you are using a sun umbrella or deck chair.
