Biden Urges Eligible Americans to Get COVID Boosters (NEWS 1)

President Joe Biden on Friday urged eligible Americans to get COVID-19 vaccine booster shots and pleaded once again with the unvaccinated to get their shots. The president's message comes a day after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced its approval of vaccine booster shots for some individuals who received the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine at least six months ago.The CDC approved the boosters for those 65 or older as well as frontline workers such as teachers, health care workers and others, whose jobs place them at risk of contracting COVID, and others ages 50 to 64, with underlying conditions.

In comments from the White House, Biden said the approval means some 60 million Americans are eligible for boosters after six months have passed since their last Pfizer shot. He said just like initial vaccinations, boosters would be free and easily available, and he would be getting his booster as soon as possible. The president said the millions of Americans who received the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines are still protected from serious illness and said the nation's top doctors and scientists are reviewing the data from those vaccines regarding if and when they may need a booster.

Biden also once again urged the 70 million unvaccinated Americans to get vaccinated. He said unvaccinated people are hurting the U.S. health care system by overcrowding hospitals and intensive care units, preventing others from receiving treatment for other ailments. He also said they are slowing economic recovery by slowing growth.The president singled out elected officials who are actively working to undermine the fight against the pandemic by spreading false information. He called this "totally unacceptable." The president called on those who want to get vaccinated but have questions to seek out people they trust and others who have been vaccinated to get accurate information.

Surabaya increases hopsital's capacity to treat COVID-19 patients (NEWS 2)

The Surabaya City administration has increased hospitals’s capacity to treat patients contracted COVID-19 and prepared 265 hotel rooms for isolation of people under surveillance (PDP). M. Fikser as a spokesman of Surabaya's Task Force for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling, said "There are additional wards in some 40 private hospitals which have cooperated with the city administration, so the city has prepared at least 120 beds for the additional wards”.

M. Fikser also said "When there are additional patients, they can be admitted to the hospitals which already have adequate facilities" The local government has also increased the capacity of local public hospitals (RSUD), with the number of wards in dr. M Soewandhie Hospital was increased by 36 to 58 rooms. "For RSUD Bhakti Dharma Husada we will add 52 wards hence it will have a total 64 wards," Fikser said. The city administration has also prepared 265 hotel rooms for isolation of residents who were just arrived from travelling abroad and those whose families were tested positive for COVID-19, as hospitals are overloaded with COVID-19 patients.

The number of patients admitted to hospitals for contracted the coronavirus has reached 798 people in Surabaya, while hospitals in the city only have limited isolation rooms with total capacity of 403 patients. Because the isolation rooms are not only used to treat patients with COVID-19, but also for ODP (people under monitoring) and PDP (patients under surveillance).

This pandemic has indeed affected many aspects of our lives, especially in the economic aspect. So, we can only hope that there is a solution to end this pandemic soon and i hope we can meet

Mouse Deer and Crocodile

One day, Mouse Deer went down to the river to take a drink. But he knew that the crocodile might be waiting underwater to eat him, so he said out loud. “I wonder if the water’s warm. I’ll put in my leg and find out.” Of course Mouse Deer didn’t put in his leg. He picked up a stick instead and put one end into the water. Chomp…! Crocodile grabbed the stick and pulled it underwater. Mouse Deer laughed. “Ha… ha…ha… Stupid crocodile! Cant you tell the difference between a stick and a leg?” Then Mouse Deer ran off to drink somewhere else.

In the next day, Mouse Deer wanted to cross the river. He wanted to eat the fruits on the other side of the river. He saw a floating log in the river. He knew that Crocodile looked like a log when he floated. Mouse Deer didn’t want to be eaten by Crocodile when he crosses the river. So, he had an idea. He called out loud, “Crocodile!” Crocodile rose from the water, “Hello, Mouse Deer. Have you come to be my lunch?” Mouse Deer smiled. “Sorry, not today, Crocodile. I have orders from the King. He wants to invite all the crocodiles in this river to a party. He wants me to count all the crocodiles so he could prepare enough meal for you.”

“Really…? Tell us what to do,” said Crocodile. “You must line up from this side of the river to the other side,” said Mouse Deer. Crocodile then got all his friends and family. They lined up across the river. Mouse Deer then jumped into Crocodile’s back. “One,” he counted. He jumped into the next crocodile, “Two.” And the next crocodile, “Three.” Mouse Deer keep jumping until he arrived on the other side of the river. “How many are there?” asked Crocodile. “Just enough,” said Mouse Deer. He laughed as he ran to the forest. Finally the crocodile was annoyed because he felt cheated by the mouse deer.

This cartoon tells that one day Nobita was late for school because he wake up late, so he asked Doraemon to bring out a magic stuff. Doraemon takes out his magic stuff, namely travel seasoning which contains pepper and can only used once. The stuff is easy to use, nobita just sprinkled in someone standing next to him. So, nobita sprinkled it to doraemon and doraemon has sneezing. Finally, nobita can go to school on time. But, nobita broke his promise. He used the stuff more than once. Doraemon is very angry and annoyed with Nobita.

In the end, Giant and Suneo trap nobita to seize the stuff. However, when Nobita wanted to avoid them, the stuff no longer worked and was finally captured by Giant and Suneo.

Giant use the stuf so carelessly, so almost everyone in their area has sneezing. In the end, Giant used the stuff on his little sister and he flew to the savanna to take a picture a giraffe. Doraemon and nobita follow Giant to help Giant in the savanna. And in the end, with the help of Doraemon, they were able to go home. Nobita has apologized to Doraemon and he promised not to violate it again.
