Here you have another very common Italian expression that will help you speak Italian more fluently and naturally.

Have you ever heard the expression "Farina del mio sacco"?

If something is FARINA DEL MIO SACCO (Flour from my bag), it means that it is something I did myself, without anybody helping me.

If you write a poem yourself and nobody helps you doing it, you can say "Ho scritto una poesia! è tutta farina del mio sacco, nessuno mi ha aiutato!" (I wrote a poem! I did it myself and nobody helped me!"
