On day 5 of the 30-day challenge, we talk about another Japanese Particle, ga. Manga Sensei teaches us more about Japanese grammar and when to use the particle wa or ga.

Desu, a Japanese copula, has a few different uses and pronunciations depending on the formality of the situation. Japanese is a very polite and respectful language, and it is important to know when to use each desu.

On day 3 of the 30-day challenge, we cover the sentence structure of Japanese and how it differs from English. We also talk about the grammatical particle, Wa, and the importance of using it even when implied.

John covers the correct pronunciation and the symbols of Katakana. Katakana is one of the three Japanese writing systems. It is generally used to describe foreign things, such as non-native names, in Japanese.

On Day 1, John gives a lesson on the different writing systems and how they are utilized. He also covers the phonemes of spoken Japanese and provides free resources to help you learn.
