Jesus taught us what Christians are, and how they are blessed. The Beatitudes explore that; they are the essence of Christian character, the gift that God intends for each of His children. They are enumerated in Matthew Chapter 5. This episode is the first of two about how God transforms us to be like His Son. This episode is about 20 minutes long, and you will learn about those first few verses. 

This is intended as an interlude to "Learn the New Testament" study that I'm producing. Before we actually get into the Sermon on the Mount, the question occurs, "What is a Christian?" and because so many people think that the Sermon on the Mount tells how to become a Christian, I wanted to give a bit of an overview as to how you actually do become a Christian. This video is being produced concurrently for YouTube.

Jesus IS the authority. He teaches on the Law, on the personality of the Christian, and how His disciples should live the Christian life.

Jesus' Temptation and Early Ministry:

Matthew 3 is a discussion of the ministry of John the Baptist; who he was, his preaching, what God requires when we turn to Him, and then of the baptism of Jesus, The Lord of Glory.

All are interchangeable, as long as you understand me to be referring to the Christian Bible, but excluding the Apocrypha.
