King David was a shepherd boy chosen by God and anointed by the prophet Samuel to be Israel’s future king. He famously defeated the giant Goliath with a sling and became a national hero, eventually rising to power after King Saul's downfall. As king, David united the tribes of Israel, established Jerusalem as the capital, and brought the Ark of the Covenant there. Despite his deep faith and many accomplishments, he also committed serious sins, including adultery with Bathsheba and arranging her husband's departure. In the end, David repented, and God promised that the Messiah would come from his lineage, making him one of the most important figures in biblical history.

Why does God seem so different in the Old Testament compared to the New Testament? What does the Bible actually say about heaven — and will we recognize each other there? Are there “lost” books of the Bible, and why weren’t they included? Can we trust that the Bible we have today is accurate after so many years of copying and translating? Was the world really created in 6 literal days, or is Genesis more poetic? Why did Jesus speak in parables instead of just telling people the truth clearly? What is the unforgivable sin, and can someone accidentally commit it? How should Christians understand violence in the Bible, like the conquest of Canaan? Why did God allow Satan into the Garden of Eden in the first place? How do we know Jesus really rose from the dead — is there historical evidence?
