Want to say your birthday month in Spanish?
🎉 In this episode, we’ll teach you how to say all 12 months of the year in order, give you two clever tricks to help you remember them, and show you how to ask and answer when your birthday is — in clear, beginner-friendly Spanish
🎙️ In this episode, you’ll learn:
✅ How to pronounce and remember all 12 months in Spanish
✅ Easy patterns to help lock them in (hint: most end in “o” or “-bre”!)
✅ How to say when your birthday is — and ask someone else theirs
✅ A mini Spanish conversation using this week’s vocab
Whether you’re just starting out or building confidence, Val (native Spanish teacher from Venezuela) and Em (English-speaking learner) make it easy and fun to follow along.
🎉 Spanglish Friend Shout-Out of the Week
This week’s shoutout goes to Michelle who commented on our last episode, episode 15, where we taught you how to say the days of the week in Spanish. She completed the challenge to say what day of the week it is, and she used the correct structure of ‘hoy es’ which remember friends means today is, and then the day of the week when she was listening which was martes, Tuesday. Thanks for getting involved Michelle!
✏️ Challenge of the Week
Tell us in the comments or DM us: ¿En qué mes es tu cumpleaños? Example: Mi cumpleaños es en octubre.
