When you ignore advice which you think is perfectly reasonable, it's probably impostor syndrome.
Here are two very unorthodox approaches to managing that inner impostor.
One way is to look beyond the presenting symptom, and find out what that inner resistance really is. This requires you to look beyond the obvious reasonable next step that you should take, and instead to ask yourself what's holding you back.
Approach #2 is very different. It's about recognising that you are not your audience, and your own judgment about how good (or how bad) you are isn't all that important.
