He has worked as a Limited Partner specializing in venture capital, and invested approximately $1-billion across 80 firms. He has been involved with two leading industry organizations: as a member of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) and at the committee level of the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA).

Winter has authored the book “How To Raise A Venture Capital Fund: The Essential Guide on Fundraising and Understanding Limited Partners”, an enlightening read for any emerging VC.
