Every time we see Mary it is at the feet of Jesus. It was her place of comfort, learning, and worship. Though we think nothing of her placement, it took courage to put herself in that position as she occupied a room full of men on more than one occasion. Mary was passionate about her Lord and would let nothing hinder her worship of Him.

Martha was a server. She loved to take care of others but she also struggled when others did not meet her self-made expectations. Poor Martha was suffering from an overload and many of us are struggling with the same.
