My daughter Sam returns to the podcast, this time, with her friend Eva.  

We all start from different points and emotions in Meditatio but we all end up with VERY similar Contemplatios- we desire more prayer.  

My friend and fellow polo mom, Linda, helps me crack open the Gospel for the fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time.  The strength of her faith, despite childhood encounters with spiritual abuse, is inspiring.  She is new to Lectio Divina and has been through the spectrum of churches, from Mormon to Catholic to Southern Baptist.  

Susan, longtime friend, Godmother to my daughter, Alice, and gifted landscape photographer joins me today for Lectio Divina.  We discuss how Jesus came to fulfill the prophecy and to bring the good news to the captives and the poor.
