It's Trinity Sunday -- whoo hoo! The Bubbas theologize and the Libera Vocal Band will harmonize with a beautiful setting of the Sanctus. What more could you want?

For the Day of Pentecost, the Bubbas are geting fired up to talk some texts! Special musical selection for the day is Sunshine, from the original soundtrack of AMC's The Walking Dead. (Think about it...)

Many churches in the US will celebrate Mother's Day on May 13; some will still preach from the texts for the Seventh Sunday in Easter, while others may not. The Bubbas have a few ideas if you're sticking with the text. You're on your own if you're doing mommas!

Special musical guest is Johnny Cash performing Children, Go Where I Send Thee.

It's the Sixth Sunday of Easter, and Pentecost is coming soon -- get ready with the Bubbas! Special guest musicians are The Chuckwagon Gang performing I Love to Tell the Story.

It's the Fifth Sunday in Easter and John and Delmer are moving through the texts and thinking about preaching. Special musical guests are Selah, performing the classic hymn O, the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus.

For the Fourth Sunday in Easter, Bubba and Bubba are theologizing and homiletizing on texts from Acts, Psalm 23, 1 John and the gospel of John. See what you think! Special guest musician is Joy Africa-Tan of the South Phillipines Hope Channel performing, There Is a Savior.

Easter rolls on, and the Bubbas are talking text and preaching ont he Third Sunday of Easter! Special musical guests are the Amsterdam Baroque Choir and Orchestra performing the final chorus of J.S. Bach's Easter Oratorio, Preis und Dank (Praise and Thanks).

Praise and thanks
remain, Lord, your hymn of praise.
Hell and devil are conquered,
its gates are destroyed.
Rejoice, you rescued tongues,
so that you are heard in heaven.
Open, o heavens, your magnificent drawbridges,
the Lion of Judah approaches in triumph!

For the Second Sunday of Easter, John and Delmer are considering the question, "So, what do we do now?" It's a good question for congregations and preachers alike! Special guest soloist is Dallas Holm, with I Believe by Bill and Gloria Gaither and Ron Huff.

What a glorious day to be talking texts -- it's Easter Sunday! We open with Christ, the Lord, is Risen Today by Charles Wesley and go out with Christ, We Do All Adore Thee by the Theodores -- Baker and Dubois. In between, the Bubbas talk gospel and preaching options for the biggest Sunday of the year.

John and Delmer (who were you expecting?) discuss the texts and preaching on the Sunday known as Palm/Passion. Closing musical meditation is provided by the Taize community with the chorus Jesus, Remember Me.

(This is most definitely not to be confused with the popular chorus of my Baptist youth days, "Do, Lord, Oh Do Remember Me!")
