In this week’s Lee Talks Stuff I discuss the question “should I draw?” by which I mean should you draw. I see that this could be misinterpreted so no I’m not seeking anyone’s approval LOL.
No I’m discussing my thoughts on the internal dialog that occurs when people ask themselves if they should do something creative.
The answer is pretty simple but I’ve produced a flow chart to help:
I hope you enjoy the podcast and feel inspired to make some arrrrt of your own – if you do, let me know!!!
I draw a daily Star Trek themed illustration over at Star Trek 365 and you can also check out all my other scribbles and stuff over on Lee Draws Stuff.
If you’re a little bit creative (or even if you’re not) I’d love to chat to you on the podcast – drop me a line here.
I’m very lucky to have known Heath for a number of years and during that time I’ve wondered on more than one occasion why such a talented photographer wouldn’t leave the office behind to become a pro.
Heath has very kindly given me the opportunity to ask him and to talk about all manner of creative stuff.
Check out Heath’s photography on his website: http://heathcarney.com/
You can also follow Heath on Twitter or Instagram.

I’ve decided to shift this podcast to focus more on creativity and encouraging people to embrace their inner artists and this is the first episode focusing on this.
I thought a great way to start is to talk about some of the reasons why I love drawing which is my creative outlet.

Stephen over on Twitter asked me to name my top five books and I’ve gone one better and listed ten books that influenced or stand out to me. There are so many more that could easily fall into the list as I mention on the podcast. Ready Player One didn’t make the cut (which was what prompted this request in the first place).
Enjoy and definitely share yours with me!!
So I had a few people ask me what I thought of Ready Player One and so I thought I’d wait about a week and let the film sit in my head for a bit and have a quick chat about it.
Let me know what you guys think and thanks for listening!
So to firmly establish this podcast as the random topic one it will be today I’m talking about what the two worst experiences I had at the cinema.
I would love to hear from you what your worst experience was, leave a comment below or hit me up over on Twitter (@leesargent)
Thanks for listening!
So yeah, I’ve gone ahead and started another podcast! But this one has been on the backburner for a couple of years now and after doing a couple of livestreamsI decided I was fine to fly solo in my own show.
The podcast is going to be made up of random ideas and topics and it’s really just as it says on the box, me talking about stuff.
We’ll see where it all goes.
Thanks for listening.
