Left Field Daily Message

The most important thing ever.

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. - John 15:13

God knows exactly what you need.

When we ask and He provides but it's not what we expected, it's always for our best. It's what we need most. When we get upset because someone is "preaching" to us, perhaps it's because they're not agreeing with that hidden selfish thought.

We have to check our hearts.

The mouth you should be watching!

You can speak life and blessings or you can speak death and cursing.

Do you want people to be better off when you leave the room? Learn to speak better.

If God doesn't remember your past, who are you to bring it up? One step further, who are other people to bring it up?

Remember that this is the enemy, the devil, trying to get you back into bondage. It's not the fault of the people who mention it.

However, your past you is dead. What you did is gone when you come to Jesus and repent. A new creation in Christ.

We get to do. We don't do to get. We get to give. We don't give to get.

When it comes to giving it speaks to more than just money. It's about time, energy, etc and it's that we get to, not that we have to. An instruction can be a "have to" yes, but when you are transformed by the renewing of your mind, the understanding of the instructions and our hearts around it turns it into a "get to."

It's an honor and a privilege to serve the Lord. That's how I feel about it at least.

Salvation is free. It merely costs you a choice.

His plans for us are great and prosperous, but it means nothing if we don't walk with Him. For us to receive all these great promises, we have to follow His instructions.

What is it all for? What is the core, basic or main reason?

Colossians say that All things were created through Him and for Him.

What's our job? Jesus simplifies it for us.

Love God.

Love People as you love yourself.

Make disciples of all nations. Baptize them and teach them.

Have you put on your armor today?

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand - Eph 6:13

None of me and All of Him.

The focus of anything and everything needs to be Jesus and not ourselves. He alone is worthy. He alone deserves all glory and honor and praise.

Deny yourself, pick up your cross Daily and follow Him.
