I realized how sharing our past experiences of feeling left out or unworthy can help us see we're not alone. Despite the enemy's lies that we don't belong or aren't good enough, God has set us apart and made us holy. Even when we're scared or uncertain, like Saul hiding among the armor or Jonah running away, God calls and equips us for His purpose. Today, I'm reminded to share my stories of God's goodness and grace, to reach out to others who may feel alone, and to be His hands and feet. You are not alone; we are all part of God's plan.

What if it is no longer I?

Reflecting on dying to oneself, I've been encouraged to live for Jesus in all situations by asking, "What would Jesus do?" It's about knowing His character to respond rightly. The Bible calls us to be childlike in faith, trusting God fully. By imitating Jesus' humility and applying His teachings, I can align my unique identity with His example and live authentically for Him.

It’s common to seek specific signs, and while the Bible highlights faith over the need for signs, it shows God sometimes responds to genuine requests for confirmation, like with Gideon. Our approach should differ from the Pharisees’ arrogance; genuine faith seeks God’s will. Reflecting on Jesus’ humility and how He fulfilled God’s will without demanding signs, we’re called to imitate Him, trusting in God’s guidance and acting faithfully.

Sometimes, I reach a point in the day where I don’t want to interact with anyone, and for a long time, I thought this was strange. I’ve realized that constant accessibility through technology contributes to this feeling, as it creates a dependency on instant communication and validation. Even answering calls from important people can feel overwhelming when I’m done peopling for the day. I've learned there's nothing wrong with needing time alone to sit in silence and reconnect with myself and God, finding rest and rejuvenation away from the demands of constant interaction.
