This week I'm taking it all the way back to my first book of poetry (again), and to my days of riding the Metro in DC with my poem "Ecologies of Scale." I'd like to think most of us are looking at the world around us -- and all of its surfaces -- differently now than we did back then. Stay safe, friends.

And while we're at it, Trans Lives Matter:
Transgender Law Center
The poems will continue to flow, but so must the Justice.
This week it's a poem inspired by a dream I had some years back where President Obama did something unexpected. Don't listen to NPR when you're half-asleep unless you want interesting dreams is what I'm trying to say, I suppose.
I posted the below last week (with an addition at the bottom), and I'm posting it again. We've seen the beginnings of progress, but there's work to do, and the people working need money to make it happen:

Another week, another poem! This week I poetically describe the preparation of a favorite meal from my bachelor days.

This week's poem is only tangentially related to reality, borne of a glint of sunlight on a Summer's day from my imagination.
As always, your feedback is welcome. @Lefthandrob on Twitter.
This week's have a poem about what happens beyond the horizon.
This is one that I thought would go well set to music.
This week's poem was inspired by some little bugs that used to share a very old house where I used to live.
A consideration of what a batch of figs might be thinking as their time to be food has come, and I offer a parting question for you.
Thanks for checking out the first episode of my podcast. Every week(wish) I'll drop a new episode where I read one of my poems; it may be from one of my published books, or it could be a poem that I haven't published anywhere yet.
