JD revisits clips from nearly a decade ago, forcing everyone to confront earlier versions of themselves: the voices, the ambitions, the awkwardness, and the assumptions about creativity, success, and identity. What starts as a clip show quickly turns into a broader conversation about how podcasting has changed, why it's harder to be authentic now, and whether it's better to burn out or deliberately walk away.

Along the way, they get into friendship over time, the shifting meaning of "making it," and the reality that not everything you build is meant to last forever.

This episode marks the beginning of the end for Left Hand Right Brain.

This week JD is joined by longtime friend and comedian Patrick Scott to look back at where this podcast started and what it's become.
