They're back, folks!
After a lengthy hiatus to take care of their tasks, issues and errands, our terrible trio are back behind the screens and ready for another crazy season.
That's right, they're adopting a seasonal platform for the show. How many episodes per season? They don't know that yet. Rest assured they'll let you know first when they do.
For now, our heroes play catch up to see what's new in each others' world. And tidy up some unanswered questions, etc.
Tune in next episode as they hit the ground running for SEASON 2!
Our heroes are joined by another high school chum, Dale Sebastian. Dale was well-known for pursuing a fruitful acting career after catching the acting bug in high school. Look for his role as Cpl. Harvey 'Chief' Dreaver in Canadian made film Storming Juno (2010), about Canada's role in World War II, particularly their participation in Juno Beach in Europe on D-Day.
They try something different by doing a table read of script generated by AI. It leaves much to be desired but they have a blast nonetheless.
A second attempt at an AI generated script is made with slightly better results but it sparks excitement in future attempts with proper writing.
Look for Stage Left Of Good to become a staple in the podcast.
Our heroes do a LIVE CHAT with listeners that goes about as well as you'd expect a last minute idea to go.
They discuss mental health and things people do to help with their own mental health.
Then they get into their TOP 5 SUMMER JAMS for the summer and read out listeners/viewers TOP 5 SUMMER JAMS on the episode.
They also plan to start a Spotify playlist including their TOP 5 SUMMER JAMS and those of any participants as they will open the list up to the public to add their tunes as well.
Expect more listener/viewer interaction in future episodes with the LIVE CHAT and possible live video streams in the near future!
They rattle off a few movie and TV recommendations that are posted on their social media page somewhere.
The crew closes this chapter of the podcast with the final installment of the Harry Potter Sage. They go through The Deathly Hallows, Pt. 2.
Tune in next episode as they discuss their TOP 5 SUMMER JAMS and much more!
The crew discuss the rest of The Deathly Hallows, Pt. 1 that they couldn't fit into the last episode.
They gear up to conclude the Harry Potter Saga on the next episode (EPISODE 20!) and return to their regularly scheduled program for future episodes.
It's been a long journey at Hogwarts with lots of laughs and tears and colorful language but it's time to move forward.
Speaking of moving forward, the LOGcast is back on social media. Look for us @LeftOfGoodPodcast on Instagram, Facebook and of course YouTube. TikTok?! Who knows? If you or someone you know wants to run a TikTok accou... ah forget it! Just check us out at those other social media spaces.
Also, look out for announcements pertaining to possible LIVE episodes.
Final homework assignment is for The Deathly Hallows, Pt. 2. And don't worry, we're gonna try to get through it in one episode.
The conversation jumps around from topic to topic and off on tangent to tangent. Try to keep up.
They do manage to discuss The Deathly Hallows, Pt. 1 but it's so in depth that they have to split Part 1 into 2 parts.
So stay tuned for The Deathly Hallows, Pt. 1, Part 1 next episode.
The crew talks about their personal experiences with natural disasters, like tornadoes and earthquakes.
The convo shifts to method actors who take their craft seriously enough to shed and gain weight for roles.
Homework consists of The Deathly Hallows, Pt. 1 as no one is prepared to discuss it this episode.
The crew talk about the recent Canada vs. USA situation that came about after Mr. POTUS's insistence on Canada becoming the 51st state (NO, THANK YOU!).
They go on to discuss life in the days before social media and cell phones and make a suggestion for their listeners/viewers to try unplugging from the internet for a while and picking up a hobby.
There is also talk about being diagnosed with ADHD and the spectrum.
Homework for next episode is The Deathly Hallows, Pt. 1.
2/3 of our crew are holed up in hotel rooms. 1/2 of that 2/3 is not a happy camper about it.
Nevertheless, the show must go on. The crew dive straight into the world ofHogwarts forThe Half-Blood Prince and power through it like a speedboat on speed.
They then get into things they've watched as their homework was to watchBlink Twice butMalcolm fails to do his homework again but for good reason this time as he's been working on school things outside of work and mentoring his own apprentice.
Homework for the next episode isPART 1 ofThe Deathly Hallows. Shit's about to get real o'clock kids. School's out forever.
Our heroes discuss mental health and the state of the world today. It's on the shorter side as well, clocking in at just under an hour.
This is a bit of a heavy one but it comes with a good message and a bit of hope. Everyone had something to get off their chests.
We'll get back to our regularly scheduled program on the next one.
