I am happy to welcome back to the Left of Str8 Show one of our favorite and most frequent guests, Writer, Director and Producer Del Shores is here. Del is the creator of the "Sordid Lives" franchise and has been writing for film and television for many seasons including for shows such as "Queer as Folk," and other iconic series.

Del recently lost two of his closest friends and icons to our lgbtq community, Olivia Newton John and Leslie Jordan, as well as his good friend and straight ally, Carol Cook. We talk about these great entertainers as well as his amazing Del Shores Foundation and his upcoming projects.

Today I am happy to welcome, Actor and Model Janak Nirmal. He is joining me all the way from the UK (and that's why the audio is a little out of sync the last few minutes), and we had a great chat about his journey from modeling into acting and his great new webs series, "Peckham Mix," that debuted last week on the Dekkoo Streaming Network.

We talk about Janak's coming out journey as an openly gay actor, his character Connor on "Peckham Mix," and oh ya, he had just got back from the Beyonce concert before we filmed this. He is an amazing guy to talk to, gorgeous to look at, and one to watch in the future for great acting and modeling opportunities to come.

Salt 14 1 rounded tbsp

Depending on Thickness 14-16 minutes in oven at 350 degrees.

Tom's Royal Icing Recipe: (in Grams and approximate Conversions)

Powdered Sugar 1200 5 3/4 Cups

Egg whites (Pasteurized) 200 1 Cup

Lemon Juice 15 3.5 Teaspoons

Vanilla 15 3.5 Teaspoons

It's Pride Month! June is officially Pride Month for our LGBTQ Community, and although there are festivals celebrated throughout the year depending on where you are in the world, we celebrate June for being when the Stonewall Riots in NYC, became known for being the first recognition of our fight for rights and equality. There were events before, like the Black Cat in LA, but June is a time to come together in solidarity and we need to remember in 2023 that this started as a MARCH not a PARADE. Happy Pride to you all.
