As you will hear I recorded this weeks TFM sat in my car, watching a sheep graze away at the grass, near the boundary as a cricket match was in progress.

The thing is, that having watched cricket at that pitch a number of times in the past, I wasn't in the least bit surprised by it - in fact it is one of the joys of travelling to Marsden Cricket Club

The other joy is the scenery, perched upon the hillside, looking out toward the Peak District. It's easy to take this kind of view for granted living in the Holme Valley, so I constantly have to remind myself that this isn't the norm for the vast majority of cricket-watching parents.
