Welcome our new speaker, Mr Adam Gwozdz. Adam is a Clinical Lecturer and specialist registrar in vascular surgery at Imperial College London and a research fellow in venous thromboembolism.

We welcome our new speaker, Matt Hazledine. Matt talks about his eleven year journey with lymphoedema, explaining how he turned the physical and mental challenges of this lifelong condition into a positive.

We welcome back Roland Renyi who is talking about the pleasures and pains  of trusteeship. 

As Roland was a trustee and then past Chairman of The Lindsay Leg Club Foundation he is in a unique position to discuss this topic. Roland covers the responsibilities of being a trustee and where to find essential information on the role and why you should have a genuine empathy for the organisation including its mission and values.

Sam and Jane are discussing taking a central role in my wound care journey with the listener gaining a better understanding of supported self-care, self-care and as a patient taking a role in your wound healing journey.

We welcome two new speakers, Ruth Yeoell and Susan McGloin who currently work for 3M one the Lindsay Leg Club Foundation Industry Partners. 

Ruth and Susan both have vast experience in vascular nursing and they are discussing the role of the clinical specialist in industry. Part of their roles are in increasing clinicians’ confidence in wound care scenarios and how both industry and clinicians learn from each other.

We welcome back one of our previous speakers Roland Renyi for his third podcast. Roland is a past Chair of The Lindsay Leg Club Foundation and he remains a great advocate of the Leg Club model. 

On this occasion Roland's podcast is a tribute to Ellie Lindsay.  Roland describes his admiration for Ellie's work in always putting the individual first, her award of the OBE presented by Prince Charles to her Lifetime Achievement award by the World Union of Wound Healing Societies.

This is the second podcast by our two new speakers, Dr Debbie Guyer and Robbie Blackwell. Both Debbie and Robbie work in Sydney, Australia, Debbie as a General Practitioner who was diagnosed with lymphoedema and Robbie as an occupational and lymphoedema therapist. 

The podcast has Debbie and Robbie continuing their conversation on lymphoedema by answering a number of common questions including 'How do we manage the condition and best practice'.

We welcome a new speaker, James Duchatel who is a Dietitian, having graduated from The University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Hons) in 2016. James currently works as a clinical dietitian in the hospital sector in Sydney Australia, also working within his own private practice ‘Absolute Nutrition au’, providing nutritional care for those recently discharged from hospital who require ongoing nutritional support at home. Along with clinical nutrition he also has a keen interest in sports nutrition.  

In this podcast James covers the significance of nutrition and wound healing, outlining the individuals with wounds and how they may be nutritionally compromised or complications may arise.

Professor Sergio Gianesini is a clinical lecturer at the University of Ferrara in Italy. Professor Gianesini is also the President of the vWIN Foundation.

On this Podcast Professor Gianesini discusses the importance of exercise in venous and lymphatic disease and the benefits of hydrotherapy.
