The guys go into how their first tournament of the year with TPBA went. They had an unexpected start but were able to find a pattern and capitalize on it early. With this momentum they were able to finish strong and secure a good bag for weigh in.

On this week's episode, the boys are joined in studio by Mitchell Rolen. Mitchell, a Montana resident and host of the "Proficient Hunter" podcast, had an exceptional 2022 season. The slate is wiped clean for the new year though, and although he has had success hunting Black Bear in the fall, this will be his first time chasing Black Bear in the spring. With this backcountry hunt being the first on the 2023 schedule, Mitchell discusses some tips, tactics, and gear he will use to help him during his hunt.
