Remaining attached to Jesus is necessary for the Christian to survive in their faith. What does it look like to abide? Jesus gave the illustration of a vine attached to a plant. Christians should be encouraged to remain connected to Christ through faith.

We will do everything we can to make sure we aresafe and taken care of. This week, we will be talking about the Dishonest Manager, who knew that he would be losing his position secured friendships with people who could take care of him. The Christian should do the same. Make friends with Jesus in order to secure our eternal destiny!

Our world is filled with distractions, excuses, and easy paths, Jesus calls us to make a deliberate choice—to follow Him, seek His Kingdom, and not take our salvation for granted.
