We all face 'giants' in our lives and as long as we have the correct perspective we don't need to worry. We will be looking at David's battle with Goliath and how we trusted in the Lord for the Lord's victory.

Do you ever feel like you aren't getting anywhere? Do you ever feel like nothing is happening in your life? David could have felt the same way since he was anointed king years before he ever wore a crown. Listen as we talk about what God is doing behind the scenes!

What does the abundant life look like to you?  Does it look like enough money?  Does it loo like fulfilling activities, retirement, or health?  Jesus told a parable in John chapter 10 about what the abundant life looks like and he does it through the teaching of a parable.  Please read John 10:1-10

Our God is a confident God who desires his children to have confidence. When we live our lives in Christ we display confidence in our eternal life, in our prayer life, and is displayed through a changed life; a confidence of where we belong and to whom we belong.

To be a Christian means that we love one another and we obey God. When Christ rules in our lives, these two things should be relatively easy. Listen as we talk about loving our brothers and sister in Christ and loving God enough to obey His commands.

There is a code that many people live by: Me First. Me in what I want, Me in where I go, Me in what I do, Me in how I spend my money, Me in just about everything. We make our lives about us, even though according to God our lives should be about what He did in us, which is evident by how we love one another. Please read 1 John 4:7-12 to prepare your heart for this weeks message!

John is instructing and encouraging his "beloved" to test and overcome those who are creating chaos in their gathering. We can learn a similar lesson as we live out our days for Christ.

How loving are you to your brothers and sisters in Christ? Are you generous? Or do you look away from needs? Love is the evidence of our faith. Do you experience this?
