Argument over cannon in Star Trek has probably been around since the formation of TNG, but it exploded with J.J. Abrams & Co.'s interpretation in 2009. On the month of it's 10th anniversary, Mike and Emilie discuss the movie. Mike gets into how, he himself was gatekeeper when this movie came out and how he saw through his own Star Trek prejudice.

Hall of Fame edition

Mike and Emilie are joined by special guest Zach Moore of Standard Orbit on Trek.fm to discuss James Doohan and Scotty. Jimmy was a fan favorite on the convention circuit and was an inspiration to many. Scotty loved the Enterprise and her engines and was awesome in command. Plus some great sportsball talk between Mike and Zach!

With the end of season 2 of Discovery on the board, Mike and Emilie dive into the 2 part prologue of Discovery - "The Vulcan Hello" and "Battle At The Binary Stars".

Mike & Emilie talk about the episode The City On The Edge Of Forever. Though it is an episode that ranks in many people's top 10 all time for Trek, Emilie complains about the eye shadow on the male actors. In their review of the latest episode of Discovery, each of them says how they believe Season 2 will end.

Mike and Emilie revisit the animated series and find some glaring weaknesses when put up against the continuity of future Trek series (I blame Voyager). Old/new friend Robert April becomes the topic of the education of Emilie.

Mike and Emilie are joined by special guest Dr. Trek, Larry Nemecek to discuss DeForest Kelley and by extension, Dr. McCoy.  Larry relates why he liked De and Bones so much as a fan and what made both of them an "everyman".

Normally we create a clever title, but there's none necessary as we cover one of the best episodes of TNG.  Mike and Emilie discuss Picard living a different life and bid farewell to one of Em's favorite Discovery characters.

Mike and Emilie explore Jadzia's exploration of her previous hosts as they discuss DS9's "Facets." Despite really liking Dax, Emilie finds she doesn't like all of the hosts.

In the Discovery recap, there is a bit of dessension in the ranks when they mention their thoughts regarding "If Memory Serves."
