Andre Previn Rison was born March 18th, 1967, in Flint, Michigan. Rison blossomed into a star football player at Flint Northwestern High School, and would commit to play for Michigan State University. As a Michigan State Spartan, Andre was featured as both a wide receiver and kick returner. In his senior year, Andre turned 30 catches into 709 yards and 5 touchdowns; heavily contributing to a 1987 Spartans squad that went on to win the 1988 Rose Bowl. His play-making ability earned him the early nickname of “Bad-Moon Rison”.
