It's scary and bewildering how calm the country seems to be, when in fact we're smack in the middle of a brewing constitutional crisis that will affect us all.

Dark clouds are gathering and already are blocking out the light. Just weeks before a presidential election there are no answers about how Trump's threat to nullify the results of the election if he loses will be handled. 

Is the Democratic Party sheltering Joe Biden from too much campaign activity? 

Joe Biden couldn't hide it on debate night. He was tired. He lacked energy. He allowed the scrapper Trump to beat him up. And in the days following he laid real low, leading to speculation  that he can't keep pace. Is the Biden camp hiding something about the former vice president's health?

Last night's battle between two political titans vying for the nation's highest office in the Nov. 3 election ended mercifully after an hour and a half with the timeclock the undisputed winner.

No one watching the horror show could stand a minute more of what was the first of three "debates" between President Donald Trump, looking for a re-up, and a solicitous Joe Biden, who didn't have much fight in him. An overrun Chris Wallace, the moderator,  kept trying to convince himself that he was in fact in charge, but Trump wouldn't stop muttering and disrupting.

The matchup, starting at 9 p.m., will be streamed live, and veteran newsman and host Chris Wallace will host.
