How is the Christian to view the role of government? Throughout history, Christians, for the most part, have existed within cultures and nations that have not been favorable to the Christian way of life. America is the anomaly, a nation that has been founded upon biblical principles and a Christian worldview. A nation and a government that has been favorable to the Christian way of life, but as we all know the times are changing. We are facing situations and decisions that we've really never had to face before, and the question is, how are Christians to respond? In this lesson, Pastor Chad McDonald teaches from Romans 13 to provide biblical principles regardless of what government or state you are part of.

Exiled and alone on the island of Patmos, John is instructed to write down all that he sees. It had been over 30 years since he last saw Jesus and now John sees Him in all of His glory and falls to the ground like a dead man in His presence. The letter John penned began by addressing the church in the midst of their persecution. John reminds them they were not alone and nor are we. In this message Pastor Chad leads us through God’s Word in the Book of Revelation chapter 1 verses 9 through 20.

Has God made promises about the future? Yes, He has! The Apostle John received a vision from God which he diligently recorded. In verse 3 of chapter 1, God leaves this admonition, “Blessed is the one who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things which are written in it; for the time is near.” Pastor Chad begins the study of the Book of Revelation in this session. Josephus, the noted first century Jewish historian, recorded a unique encounter between Alexander the Great and Jewish high priest, Jaddua, in 332 B.C.. The record states Jaddua provided a briefing from the Book of Daniel to Alexander which had been written several centuries prior. It foretold of Alexander’s victories in battle and also the end of his reign. What are the ram, two horns, a goat, a broken horn, and a little horn from Daniel’s vision in chapter 8, how are they connected, and what do they mean?
