Leo came to NA in 2018 and has stayed clean for more than 4 years now.
He came to the point when he became sick and tired of being
sick and tired. Leo spent a lot of time trying to find the solution, both while
using and while staying clean.
It ended being a long journey searching for the secret recipe
of recovery, some sort of Philosophical Stone. He tried to find the perfect
sponsor, perfect books, perfect step-working method, and even the perfect
religion. All these attempts eventually failed. After a long period of
depression and after all his ideas let him down he finally started to develop a
real contact with his Higher Power - Gods of his understanding. He feels home
now, even thousands miles away from his homeland (in Russia) in the state of surrender.

Reco12 is an organization with the mission of learning and sharing the similarities of addiction of all kinds and gaining and sharing tools and hope from others who are walking a similar path.  We come together from all places, faiths and backgrounds to gain tools and hope from others who are walking a similar path.
