We return with the second house album from Akrill, delivering raw and unpretentious dancefloor material straight from Saint Petersburg.

The artist presents a carefully constructed selection rooted in the classic traditions of house, occasionally touching on the rhythms of UK garage, yet never losing the essential 4/4 drive. This is honest music with no gimmicks, made for those who still believe in the power of groove.

Tracks like “5 Region” and “I Need” evoke the dusty mood of early morning hours, warm bass, dry drums, and a room where you forget what time it is.

No chasing charts, no algorithmic nonsense, just sound that knows where it came from and where it belongs.

Raw and immersive, Awara is the latest release (and first self-release) from Partner Music - the solo project of Chris Trowbridge aka Troby, a London-based producer and songwriter. Known for his boundary-pushing collaborations, Troby played a significant role in shaping several standout tracks on Dom Maker’s (Mount Kimbie) Die Cuts—including “F1 Racer,” “Need U Tonight,” “Tender Hearts Meet the Sky,” and “If and When.” He also developed the original concept for the Grammy-nominated single “Loading” from James Blake’s Playing Robots Into Heaven."

Drawing inspiration from Bollywood soundtracks and global rhythms, Awara reframes those influences into a hypnotic, genre-blurring club track with real emotional weight. Blending rolling percussion, cinematic tension and low-end pressure, this song has been made for low-ceiling basements, open-air sound systems, and focused headphone sessions alike.
