Maazn Records unveils its inaugural release "Lost in Transit” by Guzman & Terraflow. Inspired by the breadth of London's current sounds, this record gives a taste of their vision for the future.

The A-side features label co-founder Terraflow infusing his signature style of old-school drums and intricate synth work. "Atomic" lays down a catchy bass riff that summons an ethereal feeling of the past, whilst "Totaled Larynx" takes a hypnotic turn, embellished with haunted melodies suited to the early hours of a certain pit in Norfolk.

Guzman takes the wheel on the B-side, starting with the punchy, sleazed-out rhythms of “Neo (Trance Mix)”, steering the EP further into the depths of the peak-time dance floor. Finally, “Time Deprivation” details clever vocal sampling atop of an arsenal of dangerous waveforms - a fitting verdict that is guaranteed to set the audience into a bass-laden frenzy.

These are no warmup tracks, play out at your own risk.

We welcome petar_tverkal, a Warsaw based DJ and music producer who has been active in the scene for the past two years.

These tracks were created with a sentimental state of mind, capturing the emotions she was experiencing at that moment. Breathe Again symbolizes emerging from a tough period, a fresh perspective on life with a more positive undertone. It blends both psychedelic touches and airy

pads, layered with a deep bassline to set the mood.

As for Comfort Vision of Life—the title says it all. It’s a mellow, reflective piece that invites introspection. It’s her own personal take on what a comforting vision of life feels like—calm,

immersive, and deeply introspective.

“All Right” weaves a heartfelt story through original vocals, reflecting on the quiet power of small acts of care within a relationship. Inspired by a simple but deeply meaningful moment, the track captures the emotional depth and connection that can grow from just checking in. Isabelline curator and label head Practitioner reveals a stunning selection of his own archival productions with 'Portobello Innocent', the third release on the mysterious and acclaimed Berlin-based imprint.

Recorded between 2016 - 2024, these five selected works offer a broad look into Practitioner’s sonic sphere. Introspective club reflections that cover a grand scope of machine-translated human emotions. The EP feels like a dug-up lost tape, timeless tracks untouched by current modes or trends, each composition progressively digging deeper into unknown chasms of the enigmatic producers' distinct sound.

Kala - Hazy and dreamlike, this track layers a wandering dub bassline under a steady house beat, glimmering jazz chords and ethereal textures surround the sonic sphere, evoking flickering memories and lingering mystery.

With 'Portobello Innocent', Practitioner offers a rare glimpse into his abstract realm, crafting magnetic spaces between memory and rhythm, the ancient and the future, the human and machine.

OPOLOPO helps launch the Spring Revisited project, which invites highly respected house music producers to remix and re-edit classic tracks from New York's Spring Records.

Spring Records operated through the 1970's, releasing many seminal soul, funk and disco tracks that have left their mark on today's music scene.

This release sees OPOLOPO rework Millie Jackson's classic disco track, "We Got to Hit It Off." The original is famed for its soulful vocal performance and captivating lyrics about female empowerment. Its sweeping strings and funky bassline also add to its upbeat vibe and feel-good energy.

OPOLOPO is a Swedish disco maestro and house music aficionado, he is a highly skilled producer who has the Midas touch when it comes to remixing music. He has done official remixes for artists such as Gregory Porter, Lisa Shaw, Barbara Tucker, and many other iconic vocalists. So, he was the perfect choice to remix Millie Jackson's "We Got to Hit It Off," and it's in a similar vein to the original music OPOLOPO has released through record labels such as Z Records, Reel People Music, and Local Talk.

Talking about his contribution to the Sprint Revisited project, OPOLOPO said: "It was an absolute honour and a tremendous treat to remix a legendary R&B icon like Millie Jackson. We Got To Hit It Off is a standout example of her powerful vocals and ability to bring both passion and playfulness to her music. In my main mix, I tried to be respectful of the original, staying with the disco vibes while injecting a bit of funk and boogie. On the deeper mix, I aimed for a later time slot on the dance floor, when things are a bit more stripped down, sweaty and raw."

OPOLOPO takes a more synthesised approach with his remix, which centres around a new bassline that lays a funky foundation for the original's vocal, strings and guitar licks. It's a sassy rework made with modern dance floors in mind, and he has also done a 'Deeper Remix' with lush pads and beefed-up percussion.

This release breathes new life into a timeless classic, while staying true to the mood and message of the original.

With the Kowuq project, Prōtokol weaves an allegory of balance restored —an echo of harmony between humankind and its surroundings.

In this suspended universe, Prōtokol expands his sonic language with voices that rise and intertwine with intricate instrumental textures. Thea Soti lends a hypnotic intensity to Ætheria: Third Reality, her voice floating spectrally like an incantation in the void. Amelie Nilles, blending French and Greek on Ætheria: Apalí Melancholía, imbues the album with a contemporary poetic breath, a ritualistic whisper prolonging its introspective journey.

Kowuq: Ætheria is a meditation on aesthetic judgment, beauty, and perception. Each piece questions time and memory, forming a delicate dialogue between past and present. Anamnesis and Kuaera open a portal into a dreamlike world where nature, finally freed, breathes anew.

Set for release on April 11, 2025, Kowuq: Ætheria continues the exploration begun with the Kowuq: Prolegomena EP, deepening themes of time, aesthetics, and universal emotion.

The album distinguishes itself through its fusion of organic and synthetic elements, crafting an immersive soundscape where sonic textures unfold slowly, creating an atmosphere both melancholic and comforting.
