We all like “stuff”—the new, the fancy, the expensive, and the flashy. And many of us believe that life is better when we have more possessions. In fact, there are pastors who have falsely taught that if we please God, He'll bless us with material wealth. But the short-lived excitement we feel with each purchase is fleeting. And soon we're looking for the next purchase to ignite those feelings again.
