Hello and how are you? I hope you're doing well and having a great summer!
Today's episode is all about fairytales. I'm sharing 3 short fairytales with you, inspired by Louisa May Alcott's love of fairytales. Have you noticed all the fairy love in Alcott's work lately???

Hello and happy August. I think I fuddled up the dates here a bit. This will be published mid August and not early August. But let's pretend I got it right and this is early August. I hope you're doing well and having a great month so far, taking deep breaths, and enjoying the stillness that this month often brings before the hustle and bustle of the festivities that follow August.
Thank you so much for listening to today's episode. I hope you enjoyed it!
Stories Mentioned:
A Happy Birthday, Louisa May Alcott
Marjorie’s Three Gifts, Louisa May Alcott
The Tale of Two Bad Mice by Beatrix Potter
Ode to Silence, Sonnet by Edna

Hello and how are you? I hope you're doing well and having a great summer!
We are back discussing last week's audiobook, A Hole in the Wall by Louisa May Alcott. If you couldn't tell by the end of today's episode, I LOVED THIS STORY SO MUCH. I really want there to be more to their story. I want to see Fay and Johnny grown and still loving one another as they did when they were younger. Much of their interaction reminded me a bit of The Secret Garden Dickon and Mary and their dreamy garden. I hope you enjoyed the story as much (or at least close to) as me.

Hello and how are you? I hope you've had a great week.
I'm so excited to share this short story with you. I teased a bit about it last season - fell in love with the story, despite its rather sinister title, and knew I had to read it for you. I hope you'll love the kindling friendship of Johnny and Faye and their fairyland garden.
A free, exclusively designed ebook is available for all Buy Me A Coffee donors and Lesser Known Works Newsletter readers. Be sure to sign up here. But, of course, the public domain story is available to you for free. You can find it at Project Gutenberg.

Hello and good morning :) Welcome back to Lesser Known Works. It’s nearly summer and I can’t believe it. Do you have any epic summer plans coming up??? So we have a pretty big one. Bryan and I are actually having a baby this summer. It’s pretty epic. Later this summer. And man I’m feeling the heat of late spring already.
This episode also includes a poem inspired by The Letters written by Elizabeth Welte. She is a creative, a nature lover, and LOTR's fan. You can find more of her work on her blog, Still Life Books, but be sure to check out her jewelry line with Bumble Blooms. It was so wonderful collaborating with her on this project - such a lovely story The Letters accompanied by the perfect parallel Isobel.
Thank you so much for an amazing first season! I had so much fun with these stories. I do hope these short stories brought you some comfort, encouragement, and a smile.
