The precognitive abilities of consciousness units and cells provide us with precognitive abilities, and each of us has an idealized version of ourselves, an energy force, that propels us toward that version, consistent with the fulfillment of our values. All species have this same invisible energy force, including flora and fauna. In ancient times there were birds with high intelligence who saved human babies falling from cliffside dwellings, and the memory of them turned into angel images. Each human has such invisible energy forces, previously mentioned as an "inner self," that guides us toward a future idealized version of ourself, and which Seth likened to "earth gods." The conscious mind gives direction to all these forces by choosing to focus with intensity on one particular probability we wish to materialize and experience.

Seth emphasized that the human race has plans for itself based on its comprehensions of idealized probable future developments. The war that has just broken out in Israel is based on religious concepts where there are different notions of God. Seth makes the point that our god concepts change as our consciousness evolves. The religious concepts in turn affect the type of civilization we choose to experience. Martin Luther, he explains, is just as responsible for the USA as George Washington is, and because of Christ there was an England and an Industrial Revolution. In western civilization, he points out that the male aspects of our consciousness (and god concepts) had to be emphasized over the female in order for the developing ego to survive and prosper. That will change. Future religions will emphasize the freedom of man to develop and express ideas that emphasize cooperative aspects of consciousness, as opposed to conflict.

The consciousness units (CUs) that are the basic building blocks of our reality are aware of probable pasts and futures, which they experience as an all-encompassing Now. They are acquainted with all probable developments regardless of "time." They are aware of so much in their "freewheeling nature" that they make possible the transference of lessons learned from one species to another. Evolution as we understand it does not exist. Instead there are parallel developments outside of "time," and the CUs are aware of them, but do not experience them as past or future. Our thoughts and feelings are quite as real as the CUs and the cells, genes and chromosomes that make up all physical reality. Just like the CUs, our thoughts and feelings go out in all directions, and we have a precognitive awareness of our probable futures. That awareness helps to bring about the present we experience, as we focus with intensity on a particular future we wish to bring about. The important point to remember is, we are not limited by any of our pasts: by using our ability to focus intensely on what we wish to experience, we can make sure the future pulls more strongly than the past pushes.

Some popular and interesting TV programs currently speculate about whether ancient aliens visited our planet in ancient times and influenced mankind's development, so that ancient cultures revered them as gods. As insightful and interesting as those program are, there are two things the authors do not understand. First, outside of our earth experience, there is no time; and second, we are all "ancient aliens!" As spirits we visit the earth in various time periods as suits our purposes. Seth explains that 30 to 50 million years ago there were all sorts of experiments that consciousness took, materializing in all sorts of species that we are not aware of today. One example, mentioned in previous episodes, is that man-animals and animal-men existed along side our human ancestors. A key point is that our ideas of god develop as our awareness of our own unlimited nature develops, and all the gods and myths of various cultures are projections of mankind's level of awareness at a given time.

The biggest mass murderer in our civilization is Mao Zedong, who killed over 50 million Chinese during his 41-year reign as head of the Chinese Communist Party. How are we to think about that? You'll decide for yourself, but it's good to keep in mind when confronting that reality, that ours is a Human Time-Space Illusion, and the events we perceive with our 5 physical senses are just a tiny part of much bigger events, of which we are unaware. More important, it is good to remember that no one ever dies. They simply change form, from material to pure spirit. In that regard, it is helpful to understand the nature of Consciousness Units, which form all systems of reality in which they have their experience. They are aware of all existences they have been or will be a part of, and they know they are indestructible. Our cells are in a sense a physical universe surrounding a Consciousness Unit, and so they know that to die is to live, but in another form. Like the Consciousness Units which make them up, the souls of the 50 million murdered by Mao live in another form, and they have and will reflect on that miserable existence in whatever way suits their purposes during their journey.

While 99% of Seth's input is upifting and positive, there are some passages that describe a potentially negative development if we as a race choose one line of development and not another. In this session the focus is on Seth's warning, given 50 of our earth years ago, that we are at a stage of development where we need to become aware of far more realities than those we currently perceive, including past and future probabilities, or the race as we know it in this probability will not endure, though it might endure in other probabilities, and we as eternal spirits will of course endure. Included in the description of a potential negative probable existence is the notion of the "unconscious" rising up and becoming the source of all sorts of religious cults that war against one another. You are asked to consider what some of these cults might be preaching, since the host of these podcasts has trouble envisioning what they might be.

Seth explains that our will to bring about what we want is very powerful. This session is devoted to summarizing the story of James R. Doty and how he used the power of his will, combined with affirmations and visualizations, to gain entrance to medical school and the Neurosurgery Program at Walter Reed, against great odds, where many others were better qualified. It then recounts how he became a respected brain surgeon and a wealthy man, then lost all his wealth. This caused him to reflect on his beliefs and values, and he subsequently directed his life toward helping others around the globe. He recounted his story in the book "Into The Magic Shop," which many have called the most inspiring book they have ever read - gripping and an easy read.

In 1974 Seth suggested a project where Jane Roberts' class members would create a "city" at another level of reality. It was to be a psychic marketplace between worlds where ideas were exchanged, a place of psychic commerce, a pleasant environment with definite coordinates, a kind of "orbiting satellite" on the outskirts of our world. He then explained that initially, all worlds were created in just such a fashion. He then explained that thoughts, when they leave our minds, have their own validity and force, and follow their own laws and realities. A related concept is that any given object in one dimension has its own reality in another, so one thought can take on many forms. When we alter the focus of our consciousness, we change the reality that we experience. The episode ends with a song that came to me decades ago after first learning of these concepts.

The universe is not expanding as many scientists think it is. The universe cannot be measured in terms they think it can. The expansion is an illusion. The universe could be said to expand the way a dream or an idea does, not limited by time or space. It is well for us to remember that our present awareness is limited by the focus of our five physical senses. When we have reached the stage of advancement where we understand we are co-creators of what we experience by focusing with intensity, we will realize what we are experiencing is a real illusion created by ourselves, and we can create any illusion we wish. That applies to climate, wars, and any other material manifestation we perceive with our five senses.

Currently there is a lot of attention paid to space travel, UFOs, and life on other planets or beyond. Unfortunately, we are focused on traveling on the surface of space, rather than though it, as time/space travelers Joe McMoneagle and Bob Monroe have done. When we understand the things that the entity Seth explains here, and have developed abilities accordingly, we will be able to visit planets and experience not just their present, but their past and future as well. Instead of seeing a barren, rocky planet devoid of life, we might also experience its past or future where intelligent civilizations flourish. Just as healing energy can be sent vast distances instantaneously, without regard to time and space, so can we, as we increase our understanding of our Human Time-Space Illusion, "travel" instantaneously to other galaxies and universes. In some of the most distant by our current measurements, we are likely to encounter civilizations most like ours.
