It was 103 years ago that women were granted the right to vote in the United States. The passage of the 19th Amendment was a revolutionary change to the U.S. Constitution. Today women remain underrepresented in elected leadership. Women make up 47 percent of the workforce, but women make up 29 percent of the seats in Congress.
