This week, I’m thrilled to introduce you to Julie Bennett, Co-Founder of Lemonade Standers™. Julie and her sister created a groundbreaking program that teaches 6 to 12-year-olds financial skills through hands-on experiences like running their own kid businesses. From lemonade stands to slime sales, these small ventures teach kids not only about money but also about problem-solving, creativity, and persistence.

In our episode, Julie and I dive into a limiting belief many parents hold: that they need to have their finances in perfect order before teaching their kids about money. But here’s the truth—kids are already learning money mindsets and patterns from us, whether we mean for them to or not. So why not be intentional and teach by design instead of by default?

“As a mother, there’s nothing I want more than to set my kids up to reach their potential,” Julie says. Helping kids make their first sale—whether it’s a lemonade stand, homemade cards, or a car wash—doesn’t just teach them about earning money. It builds their confidence, problem-solving skills, and creativity, setting them up for a lifetime of success.

Julie brings her wealth of experience as an entrepreneur, corporate strategist, and mom of three to this conversation. Her passion for helping kids learn financial literacy in a fun and engaging way is truly inspiring, and I know you’ll love what she has to share.
