Words can really sting. That old saying “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me” is such a lie! People are hurt every day by words. When someone stings us with cruel words, the best thing we can do is take our pain to Jesus. He has the salve to heal our hurts. We can step back, calm down, and know that God will fix it.
