I started writing my first covered calls against some of the stocks that I currently own and want to share my experience with you all. I was very apprehensive about getting started into options, I'll share some of the reasons why, and how I got past those fears in order to begin earning income for writing these options contracts. We'll discuss the pros and cons of writing covered calls, what you need to know and what type of account approvals you will need in order to write them.

Diving into the housing market with reports from Redfin and Expedia (parent company of VRBO), as rates rise and demand cools prior to the start of the hot Spring real estate market. Back for another Monday market update after a busy week that was full of earnings, jobs report with a big surprise, and positive news on the S&P 500. The jobs report shocked us by adding 517k jobs when we only expected 188k. The S&P broke above 4100 and the 50 day SMA moved up above the 200 day SMA. We have been discussing market trends, and we'll go into depth about what this "golden cross" is and what it means for the market.

We are continuing coverage with more earnings results from some of our favorite companies.
