In this epsiode we are going to be looking at what the market has done so far in 2024 and where we might go from here. Will it be a total market rally, some stocks head higher, or are we going to give all of our gains back this year?

I made the decision to sell out of 3 names in our WeBull Investing challenge portfolio. We close out of Honest HNST, Shopify SHOP and Plug Power PLUG. With those funds I purchased more NEE, DVN and... (wait for it) MPW! Yes they are working through some issues but I believe a few trends may be in their favor.

Welcome to 2024! 23 treated us well; will the trend continue for 2024? We saw many names with double and triple digit gains over the past year, but can we count on that to continue in the new year?

We look at names that have outperformed (most after under performing in 22) and could push higher, names that have under performed in 23 and can push up from here. We identify trends in the market, including rebounds in energy, interest rate cuts, demand for housing, and look at stocks that haven't rallied with some of the big players (healthcare, fintech, defense, utilities)

In this one we look at all the gains over the course of the year. The S&P 500 gaining for the past 8 weeks. The Fed plans to cut rates for 2024 after results from PCE and inflation come in lower than expected. Some analysts push higher for 2024 while a few seem to believe that the market could fall.

We dive into areas where the market could rally, other areas where the stock market could pause and some areas that have been left behind... but are they due for a bounce or is it a graveyard of dead money?

We finish the year with a purchase of $ADBE Adobe for our "Investing Challenge". What moves do you want to see us make for the new year?

Looking into all the market shifts over the last few weeks. The Fed begins to pivot to rate cuts for 2024, signaling 3 or more cuts in the new year. 75 basis points of cuts are expected bringing the target rate down to 4.5%-4.75% by end of year.
