I was thrilled to have a brief chat to Peter Rowsthorn who stars as Amos Hart in CHICAGO. Peter is a comedian, actor, writer and broadcaster, internationally renowned for his role as Brett Craig in 'Kath & Kim' Australian sitcom show and 'Kath & Kimerella' (2012) movie. Seen lately in many national television shows, his most recent stage credits include the King in 'Jack & The Beanstalk 3D pantomime' (Bonnie Lythgoe Productions) and Bernadette in 'Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert' musical (Perth). CHICAGO the musical has returned to Australia. I was thrilled to speak to Asabi Goodman who stars as Matron 'Mama' Morton. Asabi is an American born-Australian performer who began her career as an Engineer before she made her professional theatrical debut. Asabi's most recent credits include Motormouth Maybelle in the original Broadway production of 'Hairspray', both the Australian nation tour (Crossroads Live) and the US Broadway national tour (NETWorks).
