  • We did the minimum!

Don't pat yourself on the back too much! The Cougars beat the Portland State Viking by 20 points, 44-24! Yes, the win is important, but it still raised many questions for me about coaching decisions. Why pull your starter for one drive and put him back in when the game is over and risk injury? Why did Rolovich choose to throw the ball instead of running it during the end of the game?

  • A painful night on the palouse

The clock struck midnight for your cougs! The cougs had a two-score lead with eight minutes to go at HOME and blew the game. The cougs let a Utah offense lacking a true number one starting quarterback pick apart supposedly a much better defense. Why was Nick Rolovich opposed to using Max Borghi when the game was in the balance! This was a game we were SUPPOSED TO WIN! GO COUGS!

  • The future of the Pac-12 hangs in the balance

Will WSU be standing alone in the field as conference realignment opens opportunities for USC and UCLA to seek greener pastures. There are more than wins and losses on the line for WSU this season. Will the University of Southern California abandon the Pac-12 and join Notre Dame as an independent? Do the UCLA Bruins feel disrespected by the conference? I host a roundtable discussion about the future of the Pac-12. I talked to Bryan Fenley of Fox Sports Radio and UCLA Athletics and Matt Zemek of USA Today!
