We have a huge influence over our children and who they are as people. We affect the values they hold, their, choices, behaviors, and overall health. Have you ever questioned the part you play in their mental wellbeing? Like, how does your mental health impact them? And how will your chosen parenting style affect them in adulthood? We're getting into all of this on this episode
Let Mummy Talk is parenting and well-being podcast, with positive mental and physical health at it's core. We talk, parenthood, relationships, pop culture and everything in between to help you be the best version of yourself every time. This is my happy place and I hope it becomes yours too
Why do we always wait until someone's funeral to give them their flowers and say kind things? We should let our loved ones know how we feel whilst they are here. This episode is a celebration of mums and mum figures, recognising the tiresome work they do and their endless sacrifices. On this episode, I interview my mum about her motherhood journey- the highs and lows. And my children guest host and interview me. Happy Mother's Day to all the mums #letmummytalk #mothersday #happymotherday #parentingpodcast #mentalhealth
Today we're getting into the subject of happiness- something everyone aspires to have, but few recognise when they actually have it. What makes you feel happy and what do you do to balance your feelings when you're not feeling joyful? Plus, how to recognise when you have everything you once wished for in life and practice gratitude, without always wanting more or moving the goal posts. All of that, plus positive mindset principles, and the foundations of happiness.

Ep 29- Continuing with the comparison theme, for this week's episode of Let Mummy Talk, we are discussing why we feel the need to compare our children to other children. Joined by my sister and fellow mum, Lana, we chat through why comparisons are actually sometimes healthy and needed and why in other cases, they can be damaging for both children and parents. Episode 27 is about ish we pass on to our kids… This concept of the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. Think of all the times you have looked at your child and realised they are a mini stamp of you or another family member. Traits are inherited and passed from parent to child through genetics, but some things are learned. Joined by my wonderful hubby, we delve into the traits and characteristics that can be passed specifically from mother to child and those more likely to be inherited from the father. As well as a talk about rejoining the church and teaching children about religion. Enjoy x
