You know that I am a big believer in filling up your own cup first and I still am. However, in this episode I am sharing the quick, customizable meditation that I created for my kids several years ago. I will talk about the steps to create a meditation for your own kids and then walk you through my example for inspiration (or you can even use it to play for your own kids). I hope you find this helpful. ❤️
Now more than ever it's time that we double-down on all of that self-care. In today's episode I walk you through how I am staying sane and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic while suddenly home schooling three kids.
Lately, I have had more than a few conversations with friends and clients about the struggle with the snooze button. I decided that I needed to circle back to this topic again and dig a little more into the mindset and philosophy required to becoming a morning person. If I can go from hitting the snooze button for 30+ years to getting up at the crack of dawn just for myself, anyone can! Listen to every single episode before this one for even more tips and recommendations for resources.
"How to Learn to Love Exercise" just didn't have a good ring to it so I went with "Making an Appointment with Dr. Feelgood" instead! I have always been a self-proclaimed exercise-hater and couch potato. I spent 42 years knocking exercise and only doing active things if a goal or event was attached (running a 5K, getting married, etc) to the activity. In this episode, I will give you all of my tips and then some on how to make daily physical activity something to look forward to!
Whew! That's a long title for a podcast dealing with simplicity!! One of the keys to my success is keeping it simple! We can tend to look at change as hard and make it more complicated than it needs to be. In this episode, I share my views on simplicity and how I got started by making a few simple changes.
The F Word. Failure. I have a hard time even using that word because I truly see the lesson and growth in everything. Join me as I talk about "failure" and how I view it. I also touch on how having others around you to inspire you is actually the proof that you can have it/do it too! It's what Abraham-Hicks calls "driftwood". I hope that after you listen you will stop hiding behind fear of failure (or any other fear that you have) and just go out there and do it!
"The more you see others who have what you want, the closer you are to getting it."
Today we are headed back to my Health Hacks for the Busy Woman and talking about consistency. Now hear this - you DO NOT need to be perfect when you make changes. Being consistent is key!

I am not a doctor but I am living proof that your body can, and is meant to, heal itself. In this episode I share my story of chronic pain and of how I healed myself slowly but surely. I also share what I wish I had done when my pain was at its worse and the missing link that no doctor ever recommended to me.
Remember when there was a certain genre of books called "self-help"? Somewhere between the 90's and now those books became Personal Development (AKA PD). It's all that I read and I just cannot get enough of them whether I am seeking to improve myself, my relationships or my business.
I started with my Top 10 list and decided that it would take too long to talk about 10 books. I narrowed that down to 5 but still worried that it would take too long. Sooooo...you get 4! The top 4 books that I am the most excited to talk about and/or have changed my life more than any of the others!
