Denise Arthur and Teri Netterville are quite upset with the elementary schoolyard behavior of some of the Shreveport elected officials at today’s City Council meeting. It is time for City Council Members need to start acting like intelligent grownups, not name-calling, race-bating children.
We have rules. We have laws. We have a City Charter. Any city elected official or employee who is unwilling to adhere to them is doing great harm to this city. Bring your ideas to the table, and if you don’t have good ideas, then be quiet and listen. Cast your vote, and then move on without a fight because you didn’t get your way.
