Thanksgiving Day is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. For many families it is a time to gather together and eat turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, and pumpkin pie! It’s also a time to give thanks and remember all of life’s blessings. Fun songs, and silly Thanksgiving Day jokes, will add extra fun and excitement to this special holiday. Kids will also be encouraged to “pay their blessings forward” by talking with their parents about making new traditions like volunteering at a soup kitchen or inviting someone less fortunate over for dinner.
