With all the talk about social justice in the legal, political and religious circles, Rob revisits this topic on "social justice" and how it differs from biblical justice and a right understanding of the gospel. Does justice have a biblical ground? Yes. Does the "social justice" movement center itself on a biblical worldview? No. In fact it rooted in a pseudo egalitarian form of socialism that creates a vicious circle of oppression where there is no short of amount of people being oppressed. What is the biblical view of social justice according to God's Word?

The phrase in Isaiah 53, "by His stripes we are healed" is often misused and misapplied by those under the deception of the Word Faith/Prosperity Gospel, as well as well meaning believers.  Does this phrase in Isaiah guarantee physical healing or is there something else in mind? How do we answer the Word Faith/Prosperity Gospel teachers on this issue?

Today is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday and many Christians find themselves seeking ways to show that life begins at the point of conception. The battle lines were drawn in the sand with the famous Roe v Wade, making abortion legal. But what is legal does not mean that it is lawful. What does science say about life in the womb at conception (embryology)? What do the ethical challenges tells us about the "morning after worldview" when the decision is made to terminate a pregnancy?  Many of us know what the Bible says about how God sees life from the point of conception. 

In this episode of The Real issue Podcast, Rob puts forth his defense of the sanctity of human life, beginning at the point of conception, using science, ethical questions, and Scripture (in that order).  He also points to the forgiveness of Christ for those who have been through the trauma of going through a terminated pregnancy.

How does apologetics impact our worship as Christians? How does evidence impact our love for the Lord? It is said that the more you know about God the more you love Him. Evidence can be used by the Holy Spirit to point a person to Christ and the finished work of the cross, as it did for Rob in 1980.

Merry Christmas! It's Christmas time, and conversations are stirring about the holiday and how one celebrates Christmas. Perhaps conversations come up about why we as Christians celebrate Christmas? It is not all about the jingle bells and trees. Those things are fun, but on a more significant note, Christmas is about celebrating the first Advent of Jesus Christ by means of His virgin birth.

One of the most "formidable objections" that pop atheists use to  come after Christianity is that the story of Jesus' birth and resurrection are spinoff stories of pagan mythologies like Mithras, Horus, Dionysius or some other pagan deity. The main claim is that all of these stories of the pagan deities claim a virgin birth on December 25th.

What do we mean when we make the statement, "I have faith!" Does one's faith validate what one believes is true? No. Does faith prove your religion to be true? No. What does it mean to have faith? In a confused culture and church, where faith is seen as believing something with no evidence, is that reasonable?
